Copy Corner Founder, Larry Hodges, Announces Candidacy for Texas House District 14

Larry Hodges, renowned local business owner, community leader, and the founder of Copy Corner, has officially declared his candidacy for the Republican nomination for Texas House District 14. He is aiming to fill the seat left vacant by the retiring Representative John Raney.

Hodges’ steering committee for his campaign consists of notable figures including Commissioner Nancy and Dr. Len Berry, Commissioner Chuck Konderla, Mayors Bobby Gutierrez (Bryan) and John Nichols (College Station), Hon. Jason Bienski, Hon. Andrew Nelson, Hon. James Benham, Hon. Barry Moore, Tim Bryan, Tedi & Chuck Ellison, Casey Oldham, and Kenny Lawson.

In a statement released by Hodges, he expresses his dedication to the community:

“Having served Aggieland for over three decades as a student, entrepreneur, and community volunteer, I’ve seen firsthand how we have triumphed over obstacles together. The values of dedication and generosity define us, and Texas stands as a beacon of opportunity. To preserve what has made our state strong and successful, I’m entering the race for Texas House of Representatives, District 14. As a lifelong Republican, I’m dedicated to the conservative principles that have fueled the prosperity of Texas and our district. My sincere thanks go to Representative John Raney and his family for their steadfast service.”

Hodges further shared his vision, focusing on urgent concerns:

“Each year grows more pivotal, and our future’s choices increasingly complex. We must safeguard our borders, enhance community safety, deliver tax relief to property owners, and guarantee a top-tier education for every Texan child. While addressing these vital issues, it is paramount that we continue to protect life, defend free speech, and uphold our Second Amendment rights.”

Reflecting on his business experience, Hodges noted:

“As a job creator and active member of the Brazos Valley, including Texas A&M, I’ve seen that we can achieve remarkable successes through collaboration at every level. I believe we can reach these policy goals in Austin.”
