In addition to the first location Dutch Bros Coffee location in the state, currently under construction, a site plan has been submitted to the City of College Station for a second location at 2101 State Highway 6 South and Scott and White Drive, just south of Rock Prairie Road.
The first Texas location of Dutch Bros Coffee is being built at the corner of Wellborn Road & Deacon Drive. Construction began in August and the shop will soon be open and serving Aggieland.
While College Station will be the first Dutch Bros Coffee in the state, several more are in the pipeline. Last month, Dutch Bros Coffee signed a ground lease for a location on “0.76 acres at Carmel Creek (US Hwy 79 & Chris Kelley Blvd, Hutto),” according to a Resolut RE announcement. Hutto is the fifth Texas location in the works with a site plan submitted for a Round Rock location, the College Station location under construction, the second planned College Station location, and a coming Plano location recently reported by Community Impact.
“Having started from humble beginnings, as a single espresso pushcart in the small town of Grants Pass, Ore., the company now has 400+ locations in Oregon, California, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Arizona,” according to the Dutch Bros website. The company touts “a plan that involves strategic, healthy growth, including having 800 locations by 2023.”
