Texas A&M University Police Department Welcomes New Officers to the Force

The Texas A&M University Police Department (TAMU-PD) is proud to announce the addition of two new officers, Cameron Vines and Darby Lowder, to their team. The officers were officially sworn in today by Assistant Chief Bobby Richardson in a ceremony at the TAMU-PD, marking the culmination of their rigorous training at the Central Texas Police Academy.

Both officers successfully completed the 176th Basic Peace Officer Course and will participate in their graduation ceremony later today at the Annenberg Presidential Conference Center.

Starting Monday, October 21, Officers Vines and Lowder will embark on a comprehensive 20-week field training program. During this phase, they will be closely mentored by experienced Field Training Officers, gaining hands-on experience and learning the specific responsibilities associated with policing at Texas A&M University.

The TAMU-PD is excited to welcome these new officers aboard and looks forward to their contributions to campus safety and community engagement.
