According to a post on the new CALZ facebook page, the same owners are also opening several restaurant concepts in the former Blake’s Steaks location near Golden Corral on University Drive.
The post featuring logos of the new eateries says, “The former Blake’s Steaks spot will be converted to burroBURRO, a burrito concept featuring house smoked Texas style BBQ and global flavors. We will also have delivery only options out of that location for Bertie’s Hot Chicken, Backwoods Burger Co., Big Bánh, and Chip’s Tejano To-Go.”
