Soon, College Station will be able to get a Mexican food fix again at 701 Texas Avenue, the spot that was a Taco Cabana for decades. Las Palapas Restaurants, the San Antonio-based restaurant group that prides itself on combining ” the best of South Texas and Southern California” flavors, has announced that they are building their first Aggieland location in the former Taco Cabana building.
