MAD melt, “a fast casual restaurant offering gourmet grilled cheese, soup, margaritas, and other unique menu items,” is now open for business at 404 Jane Street #400 in College Station. The restaurant occupies the spot near the intersection of Texas and University that was formerly Mad Taco‘s second location. The Mad Taco at 1664 Greens Prairie Rd., which quickly became a south College Station go-to for tacos and good times, is still open for business. Both MAD melt and Mad Taco are creations of acclaimed local chef Peter Madden.
